Gideon and Fyneia

Gideon and Fyneia is a fun picture, is a serene image of a couple ina well placed environment. Composition and quality are excellent as well as anatomy and expression. Changes in tone and shade are a mark of an excellent eye and shading intuition. The distance from the tree to Fyneia is a good show of proportion and perspective. To put it simply, it's really cute and I really like it. The mood is perfect.

Very few errors aside from his boots being hard to tell apart, but black can be a temperamental master. Her left leg (the one on top, Sorry, I'm dyslexic so I think it's left but don't trust me.)looks like it's being raised rather than laying flat on her right. Only on the calf part the knee and thigh look perfectly in synch with someone laying on their side. The only change I would make is shading the portion of leg under her foot, just the leg the grass can remain empty there to keep that soft touch.

Impact gets four. Because it just makes you smile and makes you want to know more about these two lazy forest people. So happy together. All said, a very lovely piece.
