When I log unto deviantart, more so than the pretty/awesome/cool finished works that many artists post, I always try to look for the few artists who show off their sketches and the hours of practice they had to make time for. Not only does it show how they got where they are, but it also serves as a reminder that everything comes at a price. "Practice makes perfect" and "persevering being the key" is what I have learned from your looking over your gallery and that motivates me greatly.
